The latest version of Mozilla Firefox ignores Vista's Parental Controls and allows file downloads that should be blocked under Vista's parental control settings. A patch is promised at an unspecified future date.
Firefox 2.0.0.4, released yesterday, includes the following in its readme file: "Vista Parental Controls are not completely honored. In particular, file downloads do not honor Vista's parental control settings. This will be addressed in an upcoming Firefox release."
