Mp3 My Mp3 Recorder does an admirable job recording audio from a sound card or a microphone. Though it does lack advanced tuning options, it has settings for adjusting the quality of recorded audio.
You can save recorded sound in WAV or MP3 formats, and the scheduler is another useful option. It allows you to set when a recording should start and how long it should last; the program will start recording as planned, whether you're at the computer or not. It's a great way to keep from missing your favorite radio program.
