Microsoft's Windows Live SkyDrive beta has been gathering interest ever since it first appeared and the latest development is that Microsoft has doubled storage capacity to 1GB and added some nice-sounding new features.
These comprise:
First, the addition of RSS feeds to public folders so that when files are added, your significant others (or the great unwashed general public if that's what you've chosen) can be notified.
Second, the ability to add email addresses of those people direct from SkyDrive, rather than having to shell out to Hotmail or Windows Messenger.
Third, the chance to add the name of the person who added the file.
