kaspersky is good but there is a virus called raila odinga that has backdoor programs which ofcourse kaspersky detects but says it cannot remove or is it be cause im using the trial

I have tried Norton, PC Cillin, Zone Alarm,and Kaspersky. I now have Kaspersky 7.0 and consider it the best and so many,many others.

just look who is on top4 - all the product have kaspersky modules. might be nice advertisement.
i don't think that using Kaspersky is the best idea for corporation. i admitt that it's secure but it slows overall performance. I'd prefer symantec or Nod for business or avira for home.

I'm an IT Pro and I have been using Kaspersky for more then 3 years. My experience shows that it is one of the best AV on the market, and this test confirms it. I also tested Avast free edition, and I think it is great, best free AV available.

I am Using Avast Professional (http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-professional.html)and irt works gr8.When a Virus is found it speaks and tells you. Other antiviruse's graphics are poor eg:- NOD, AVG. But avast has good graphics and you can even change your skin from time to time(http://www.avast.com/eng/skins.html). Some antivirus use lot of memory and make computer start late and reduce its speed but avast is not like such.

i use mcafee and it has no problems .i believe trend macro pcclinn antivirus is also one of the best ..they forget to test trend macro pcclinn antivirus software.i used that in year 2005..its really good

My vote goes for Avast Home Edition! I've been using it for years virus free. That along with Firefox, Spyware Blaster and Spybot Search Destroy (All Simple and Free).

If you are tired of bloatware and want something quick, simple and effective, try Avast and you'll never look back.

And it's FREE…as in Free Beer!

No. AVIRA sucks, just look at it's freeware edition, it takes a whole day just to update the virus definition list etc. And the auto-update popup crap is just plain annoying.

AVG Antivirus is better than AVG anti-malware, I have conducted numerous test on differnt machines and the antivirus (free) solution is much better than the anti-malware at finding bits.
